Just a few, final thank you’s and an announcement of upcoming Clayton Arts Alliance events, so be sure to read all the way to the bottom!

THANK YOU’S:

First, to you, the dancers:  If Michael Jackson had been alive and hanging out around Clayton this Halloween, I think he would have been very impressed—with your performance panache, your costumes, and your make-up.  He wasn’t around, but the people of Clayton were, and I’m pretty sure you blew them away.  So, kudos to you all for your enthusiasm for the project, your dedication, your talent, and your appropriately spooky performances!!  Hope to see you all next year!!  (And for those of you who rehearsed with us but could not make it to the performances, we missed you and hope the timing is better for you to join us next year.)

For your viewing pleasure, here’s yet another video of our Oct. 30th performance on Horne Square!  (posted by Michele Molinaro)

Many thanks, also, to this pallid creature at the left , Michele Molinaro, who not only secured rehearsal space for us behind HomeTowne Realty but facilitated our access to the Dr. Watson Inn for the official filming of “Thrill the World.”  The Inn is the current home of the Apple Law Firm, and we were also very fortunate to have the firm’s principle, Josh Apple, appear during the filming to graciously open up the Inn for us and to help clean up after our pizza party.  Many thanks to Josh!

The scampering skeleton, JP, (left) and Vic Wynne (who did not scamper, but searched doggedly to locate a working electrical outlet at the Inn) provided the fog machine.  Thanks!! It certainly gave our official filming a properly ghostly feel.

Thanks also to Ksenia Dobbs, who helped with cueing at some of our later rehearsals and who provided extra camera work at the filming! (That’s the lovely Shannon McKenna at the left, not Ksenia, for whom I have  no photo except for when she was eating pizza. And I did not think she’d want me to use that one.)

If you have other suggestions for other events that will bring our community together through participating in the arts, please reach out to us.

Again, THANK YOU ALL for making this such a fun and memorable community event!
